Excellent place for target practice, purchases and training. Staff is very knowledgeable, polite and helpful.

Clean, modern range with friendly employees. The membership option is a good deal if you train frequently. The best part is the ability to draw from holster and rapid fire after showing the rangemaster that you're safe. Not sure any other shooting range in the area offers that.

I recently attended a basic handgun course on November 23, 2024 and it was an excellent experience. The instructor, Mark, was incredibly kind, patient, and informative. As a first-time shooter with no prior experience, I was initially nervous, but Mark made sure everyone in the class understood how to safely and effectively handle their firearms. His teaching style was approachable, and he took the time to ensure no one was left behind. Since I’m not a gun owner, I chose to rent a firearm and wasn’t sure which one to select. One of the staff members suggested the Smith & Wesson .380 EZ Shield, explaining it was a great choice for beginners (and one of the first guns he purchased for his wife). It turned out to be an excellent recommendation—it was easy to use once I got the hang of it, and by the end of the course, I felt much more confident. In fact, I enjoyed the experience so much that I think I’ve fallen in love with shooting and am already planning to purchase a firearm soon! The facility itself was very clean, and the entire staff was friendly and courteous. The day before my class, I spoke with Dylan to confirm details, and he was incredibly helpful and polite. From start to finish, the professionalism and warmth of everyone involved made the experience memorable. Thank you, Mark, for your patience and dedication! I highly recommended this basic handgun course with Mark for anyone looking to get started with firearms in a safe, supportive environment.

Mark is very Knowledgable. I asked so many basic and stupid questions, and he answered with patience. There is only thing I wish they can make some changes. The target paper, most of the time, it is our first target palate, and I believe we want to keep it. It is required that our coach has to keep it, and we can only take a picture of it. We believe, we can stick 2 papers on the board, and we can take one home, and they can keep one as their record. Anyway, perfect experience! Highly recommend.

Greats folks here. Lots of knowledge of NFA weapons. Range is digitally controlled and nice and cool. Well ventilated also. Range safety officers there are really watchful (a good thing) and helpful if there are issues. It gets pretty busy but people cycle in and out pretty quickly. There’s a comfy couch and drink machine if you need to wait for anything.

My adult daughter and I took the Basic Handgun class at OTS last Saturday. Guns have always scared me but i wanted my daughter to know the basics of gun safety. DOUG is a natural teacher and did a great job! We feel much more confident in properly handling a gun and being around them. I have a better understanding now why so many people are interested in this hobby. This class seems to be geared toward people like us and people who already have a gun but want to learn more. I will be treating my other daughter to this class next month.

THE BEST RANGE IN JACKSONVILLE!!! These guys are truly awesome. Every member of the staff is super professional helpful and knowledgeable. Well kept state of the art facility making every visit enjoyable. Safety is a HUGE priority for them and they do a great job of making every customer feel safe at all times. The range safety officers are awesome, and help out in every way they possibly can from YouTube recommendations, to helping zero optics, to making first time shooters feel very comfortable and coaching them along the way. These guys are LEGIT. The NFA section of the store is also very helpful and has went out of their way to help, from installing equipment on my firearms to giving extremely helpful info regarding NFA purchases. I recently ordered a suppressor and the entire process at OTS has been smooth as butter. All in all, this is THE #1 place to go shoot and have a great time!

Customer Service is not the best. I was given the wrong rounds, when I questioned it, I was reassured multiple times by separate individuals that the rounds were correct. Once I discovered that the rounds were in fact incorrect after my firearm was jamming and not functioning properly, I bought it to the representative’s attention again. I was told that since 3 rounds were used from the box that I would not receive a refund. Instead of accepting accountability and making the right decision because it was brought to their attention right away, the staff and owner refused to give a refund although his employees gave the wrong rounds and information.

I was planning to buy a gun so I want to see which one was convenience for me but he was rushing me so I decided to rent one , I was asking the black Men in his 40’s very rude and unprofessional I asked him how much I was looking at $. He didn’t have the answer and made me fill up all the paperwork (my personal information) got my debit card and D.license and left me there waiting passing my license to the other employee who gave me different prices. I kept asking how much I was going to spend in total. he allready knew which gun I picked but he won’t say the total, I had to wait until he attended all the customer 4 employees tried to use one computer or register and he said I have to wait until the other guy finishes so he can give me the prices. Unbelievable. I won’t comeback there.

Picked up my suppressor today. Store was clean, staff was beyond helpful and friendly while the paperwork was being processed. Knowledgable and obviously have a passion for what they do. Will definitely be back again and recommend to my friends.
